Okay, okay.  So you have to bake the crust.  But you don’t have to bake the filling.  :-) OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is a pretty good basic frozen yogurt–I’d like it with fruit or a fruit syrup on top, kids might like it with sprinkles, lots of people like chocolate syrup, and so on. You can add some fruit or fruit syrup (but not too much of a liquid syrup) to the mix while it’s churning in the ice cream maker to get more fruity flavor, if you want. It’s also pretty good plain if you’re in a basic kinda mood.

This is probably the most fun I’ve had with mousse yet.  ‘Nuff said.  :-) OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The inspiration for this idea was making soft pretzels — could I make something else that soft, if I just boiled the dough briefly before baking it?  I ended up with “bread-by-the-slice.” OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

These actually look more like “normal” puffy pancakes than the other recipe I put up awhile back, as they’re a little thicker. They are moister and heavier, though, which was the point (for me). They’re a bit more substantial and flavorful. Oh, and it’s a good way to use up extra-ripe bananas. Personally, I get tired of banana bread and muffins sometimes, and this is at least a little different.
